      Report a Google review

You can report a review that breaks Google’s policies, such as spam or profanity, but not one you simply disagree with. Open your Business Profile, select Read reviews, select Report next to the review, choose the reason and send. It takes about two minutes; Google’s decision usually takes several days, and you follow it in the Reviews Management Tool.

      Steps

      1. Open Read reviews

On a computer, search Google for your business name while signed in to the account that manages it, and select Read reviews.

      2. Report the review

Find the review and select the Report icon next to it. Choose the reason that fits, for example spam or profanity, and select Send report.

      3. Or use the Reviews Management Tool

Open Google’s Reviews Management Tool, confirm the account, select your business, then Report a new review for removal. Select Report next to the review, choose the reason and select Submit.

      4. Check the status

In the same tool, select Check the status of a review I reported previously and appeal options. A report reads Decision pending, then Report reviewed, no policy violation, or Escalated, check your email for updates.

      5. Appeal once if you disagree

If Google found no violation, select Appeal eligible reviews, pick up to 10, select Continue, then Submit an appeal, and fill in the form. Google emails the result; each review can be appealed once.

      6. Reply while you wait

The review stays up while Google decides. A short, calm reply shows readers your side now and stays useful whatever the decision.

If you do not see it

      • On the Maps app. Reporting from the Maps app reports the reviewer’s profile, not the single review. Use a computer, or the Reviews Management Tool, to report the review itself.
      • No Report icon. Sign in with the account that manages the profile. A profile that is not verified yet may not show the owner’s tools.

      What Fly does here

      Fly replies meanwhile

Fly does not report reviews to Google; only you can, from your profile. What Fly does is reply: it drafts an answer to the review in your tone, and by default a 1 or 2 star review waits for your yes on every mode, so you choose what goes up while the report is with Google. Questions

Is it possible to remove Google reviews?

Only Google removes reviews, and only ones that break its policies. Report the review from Read reviews or the Reviews Management Tool; if Google finds a violation, it takes the review down.

Can I delete someone else's Google review?

No. Only the person who wrote a review can delete it. You can report it if it breaks Google’s policies, and reply to it either way.

How do I remove fake negative reviews from Google?

Report each one with the reason that fits, such as spam, and follow it in the Reviews Management Tool. If Google finds no violation, you can appeal once. Reply calmly meanwhile, so readers see your side.
