Add a booking link to your Google Business Profile

You add a booking link from your Business Profile on Google Search or in the Google Maps app: open Bookings, select Add link, paste the address of your booking page and save. It takes about two minutes. Google shows the link behind the Book button on your profile once it has checked the change.

      Steps

      1. Open your profile

On a computer or phone, search Google for your business name while signed in. Your profile opens with its own editing buttons above the results. In the Google Maps app, tap Business at the bottom right instead.

      2. Open Bookings

On Search, select Bookings. In the Maps app, tap Edit profile, then Bookings. Some categories show Food ordering or Pickup and delivery in its place.

      3. Select Add link

Select Add link. If a link is already there, from you or from a booking partner, select Add another link.

      4. Paste your booking page

Paste the address of the page where customers book, not your home page, so the Book button opens the booking form straight away.

      5. Set the preferred link

If there is more than one link, select Set preferred link and choose yours, so it is the one customers see first. Google allows up to 10 links for each kind of action.

      6. Save and test the button

Select Save. A little later, search for your business again and select Book to check it opens your page.

If you do not see it

      • No Bookings button. Google offers booking links only for some business categories and regions. Check that your primary category describes what you do, in Edit profile.
      • A profile not yet verified. Verify the profile first. Google lets some businesses change their details only after verification.
      • A link you never added. Booking partners can add links of their own. On Search select Bookings, then Remove Provider; Google says a partner must remove its link within 5 days of the request.

      What Fly does here

Fly asks before replacing a link

For a business that takes appointments, Fly makes a booking page on your Fly website where customers pick a free time from your opening hours, and offers to put it behind the Book button on Google; on Fly does it all it adds it on its own. If a link of yours is already there, such as Practo or Calendly, Fly asks once, on every mode, whether to swap it, and keeps yours if you say no. Read what else Fly does on the GBP Growth Agent page.
